These stud earrings are inspired by my times in Roussillon, Provence. The central motif outlines prominent cliff faces that confidently protrudes into the countryside.
Roussillon was mined extensively for its ochre pigments from the 18th century to the mid 1900's, and the town and old quarry boast vibrant sun-kissed oranges, reds as well as countless shades of earth.
I wanted to emulate the vibrancy, and the history of this town in 22KT Gold. Roman coins sometimes featured natural motifs from the vast reached of its empire, Inspiring me to make these earrings.
