Vengeful Flora

Description:

What I want to convey with this concept, is that this is not yardage to be used in a traditional way, its more dynamic and has a story to tell, and not meant to adorn furniture or homes.
In the scene we have a main character that has been wronged in the past by two villains, and the flower has found them again and is smiting them with his power. The floral overlay is meant to be a “shield” to protect the viewer from his powers.

This project resonates strongly with set designers and creative directors in theater, opera, dance, and film. These professionals utilize surfaces to convey narratives and psychological tension. The repeating structure creates visual rhythm on a large scale, while the underlying storyline introduces symbolic depth that can support character-driven or myth-inspired productions. The pattern’s dynamic movement and layered imagery make it particularly effective as a backdrop, scrim, or large-scale printed textile within staged environments. In this context, the wallpaper serves as a narrative device, suggesting conflict, protection, and transformation, while maintaining visual cohesion across expansive surfaces.
